Welcome to DevMatch! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of https://dev-match.xyz, our APIs, MCP server, and related services (the "Service").

By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old and have the legal capacity to enter these Terms.

2. Accounts

• You may create an account via OAuth providers like GitHub.
• You are responsible for account security and all activity under it.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or abuse the free tier.

3. Description of Service

DevMatch provides tools to discover and rank software engineers based on verified public GitHub contributions, including web search, chat-based discovery, and an MCP server for AI coding assistants.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for illegal purposes.
• Scrape or extract data beyond normal use.
• Abuse MCP tools, credits, or rate limits.
• Harass, spam, or harm others.
• Interfere with the Service's operation or security.

5. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is." We do not guarantee accuracy of rankings or contact data, or suitability for any hiring decision. DevMatch is a discovery tool, not a guarantee of candidate quality.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (or $100 if a free user).
